Building on Jalan Menceng Raya Demolished

Hundreds of building along Jalan R aya Menceng, Tegal Alur Urban Village, Kalideres, West Jakarta, were demolished by joint personnel, Monday (5/2).

Legal buildings with complete documents are not executed

Based on Beritajakarta.com’s observation, the execution was protested by citizens who claimed have land certificate. In fact, heavy equipment kept demolishing the buildings.

Uus Kuswanto, Kalideres Sub-district Head, said his side has inventoried buildings on city’s asset. “Legal buildings with complete documents are not executed,” he said.

According to the inventory, 183 buildings occupied city’s land. Jalan Menceng Raya will be widened up to 24 meters from existing wide 6 meters along 1.5 kilometer.
